The semi-autonomous irrigation systems of the Hemp Maker
Kits enable automated watering for up to 7 days. This minimizes the maintenance effort while your plants are optimally supplied with water.
We use the CultiMate system from Terra Aquatica, in which the roots are optimally supplied with oxygen through the constant water circulation. Draining the fertilizer one week before harvesting allows optimal final irrigation with clear water.
The system consists of an inner container for the hydroponic medium, an outer container for the nutrient solution and a pump with a connected irrigation ring. The pump constantly transports the nutrient solution upwards and distributes it via the irrigation ring.
We use the CultiMate system for many reasons. It ensures a constant supply of oxygen-rich nutrient solution for your plants. In operation, the system consumes only 2 watts of electricity particularly economical.
Thanks to its simple design, the CultiMate system is very reliable and easy to put into operation. Thanks to the patented vacuum technology, no fertilizer salts reach the sensitive parts. The pots are made of recycled plastic; the system is very easy to clean and simple to drain, so that only pure water can be added in the last week of flowering. This means that no fertilizer residues can be detected in the dried flowering material.
The use of rock wool as a hydroponic medium further increases the water storage capacity and makes the hemp maker kits self-sufficient for up to 7 days.
